Petition and Declaration For Our Children Part 1

Many years ago, one of my friends called me. As the conversation got deeper, she explained that some of her challenges with her young adult son. After listening for about thirty minutes, the Lord prompted me to respond in a very unusual way. I said, “I am going to write a declaration for your son, and I will be committed to praying this every day for him for one month.

After a few months had passed, I discovered the declaration in my file folder. I decided to start praying this very prayer for my son children. In addition, I went on to pray this for the children of my other friends as well. I thought this declaration may be of great benefit to someone who needs encouragement.

Feel free to speak these things out loud in prayer over your children. Be watchful and see the many ways in which things will begin to shift in the lives of your children.

Heavenly Father,

I stand on the promises outlined in your word.

● Proverbs 22:6 declares, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

● James 5:16 encourages, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

● Psalm 112:1-2 states, “Praise the Lord. Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who finds great delight in His commands. Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.”
